I got my first camera at 15.
That’s not entirely correct.
I’ve had a Kodak disposable camera every vacation or trip since I was a kid, but at 15 I finally got my own “real” camera. It was this HP Photosmart camera, just over 6 megapixels. The crudest flash you’ve ever seen, and held just a handfull of photos. I got some snow in the lens one winter, and later some in the zoom-mechanism. The pictures were often blurry.
It was great fun!
Between then and now, quite some years have passed.
Mediums, social media pages, blogs and posts come go – but having fun with photography stays the same.
This is why the first post on this page is dedicated to a filmstock and camera I never had used before this roll;
The delightfully underappreciated Pentax P30 (mine in the T variant), and the wonderful Santa Films “Santacolor” 100 ISO film.
